| Pastoral Counseling |
The Bible says: "Where no counsel is, the people fall; but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety," (Proverbs 11:14).
God has established a Divine Order for every aspect of your Christian life. His order for your safety, and to keep you from
falling is for you to receive counsel from those who operate in the Spirit of counsel (Isaiah 11:2).
It is through Godly counsel that you will receive the answers, directions and corrections you need to keep you from making
many mistakes. David relied on the counsel of God in almost every situation he faced. I believe this is why God refers to
David as a man after His own heart (Acts 13:22). Before David made decisions, he went after the very heart of God. As he
sought the heart of God in the matter David received Godly counsel.
By Godly counsel David was victorious over the Philistines and escaped Saul's plots to kill him. Counsel instructed David to
store up materials for his son to use in building the famed Solomon's Temple.
Today you can still go to God for directions in your life. I do this privately on a daily basis. I also seek out Pastoral
